Castle Drogo, Dartmoor
Perched above the Teign Gorge with dramatic views over Dartmoor, Castle Drogo is the 'last castle to be built in England' and is one of the most remarkable works of the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.
Lutyens built Castle Drogo, Drewsteignton, Devon for Julius Drewe between 1910 and 1932
Working with the architects Inskip and Jenkins, The National Trust and the main contractor, MBL restored various parts of ironmongery and replicated missing parts on the hinges and locks on the Chapel, along with the fittings to the new roof area above the chapel
Working directly with the client MBL restored and replicated various original Lutyens fittings and fixtures on this remarkable and imposing property.
