This includes the design, construction and maintenance of master key systems; a full key cutting service; the supply of all types of architectural ironmongery, locks and spares for wooden, metal and UPVC doors; the delivery and installation of all locks, architectural ironmongery, access control systems and safes.
Staffed by a highly skilled team of locksmiths, architectural ironmongers and engineers, the MBL workshop is equipped to repair, restore or replicate any items of historic, unique, modern or cherished architectural ironmongery.
Our extensive experience means we are able to design and manufacture locks and ironmongery to integrate modern security system requirements with historic conservation concerns.
Our expertise has enabled MBL to gain a considerable portfolio of work on historic buildings owned privately and publicly as well as by English and Scottish Heritage, Cadw and The National Trust. Buildings have been as varied as Stately Homes, Town Houses, Castles, Churches and Ecclesiastical Buildings.
In addition, MBL provides a complete service for all domestic and commercial premises. Whether a single small commission or full design, ironmongery scheduling, supply and installation of integrated security systems and architectural ironmongery packages, MBL will manage the process from the initial contact to the completed project.
